10 days and counting!

The excitement is mounting as we get closer to Carnival weekend.

The committee have been working hard to make this the best Carnival ever!  There’s more stalls than ever, trade, commercial, information, charity and craft stalls.   There’s all the fun of the fair with lots of side shows, rides and plenty of food stalls offering a large variety of street food and old favourites for you to enjoy.

This year the Dog Show is back under the supervision of the Cromwell Vets (that is of course, weather permitting!)

The Carnival Parade will begin from Princes St (near the library) and arrive in the Riverside Park at around 12.30 pm.  The parade will include the Mayor of Huntingdon in a vintage car, and hopefully lots of colourful dancers in wonderful costumes and of course, Noddy in his famous car.

Stalls will include many charity and not for profit organisations including the Mayor of Huntingdon’s Charity, Huntingdon & Godmanchester Twinning Association,  HCR, Sea Cadets, and many,  many others.  Come along and support the work of the volunteers in our local charities.   There will also be several vintage cars on display.

A licensed bar will be open on both Saturday and Sunday, and ice cream will be on hand with lots of food stalls.

What is most necessary to bring out the magic of the occasion?  We need you!    Do come along and join in the fun.   Entry is free.
