The present day Carnival Committee have tried hard to find out about the history of the Carnival which we know, in its previous incarnation, stretched back into the 1930’s but researching has proved to be quite a challenge. Once we have some information we will publish it here for you to read. In the meantime, we would love for you to help us.
If you have personal knowledge of the Carnival all those years ago, perhaps you or someone in your family was a Carnival Queen, or you took part in the parade or you remember watching the parade go by, we would love to hear from you.
